WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All our Chilli Scooters come with a two-year warranty against manufacturing and material defects. The warranty does not cover damages resulting from improper use, such as incorrect model assembly, careless use like riding against curbs, corrosion, installation of components/parts or accessories not intended for or incompatible with the device, third-party add-ons, as well as normal wear and tear. The warranty becomes void with any modification to the Deck, T-Bar, and components.

We can only accept warranty claims if we receive the proof of purchase and the serial number of the scooter. If you make a warranty claim, your dealer or Chilli Pro Scooter AG will decide whether the scooter will be repaired or replaced by a new model. Subsequent owners (second or later) are entitled to a two-year warranty from the date of the initial purchase. Original purchase receipt is required.

Examples of wear or improper use not covered by the warranty are listed below:

Chromoly and Steel T-Bars
Bars that have been modified by sawing them off. Scratches and chipping of the surfaces. Bars with visible signs of impact from improper landing or throwing the scooter.

Aluminium T-Bars
Bars that have been modified in any way, including cutting them off. Scratches and chipping of the finish. Handlebars with visible signs of impact from improper landing of the scooter or from being thrown. Aluminum bars are designed and manufactured using lightweight materials for riders who want the lightest setup possible and know how to ride smoothly. Impacts from dropping and losing control of the scooter will cause damage to the bars that is not covered under warranty.

Clamps
Torn off or cross-threaded bolts. Torn off bolt heads caused by incorrect size or damaged tooling. Scratches or damage of the surfaces.

Forks
Broken or bent axle bolts. Forks that have been modified in any way. Misuse or incorrect setting of compressions and headsets.

Decks
Damage caused by misuse and improper use. Scratches or fading of the surfaces. Changes to any part of the deck or damage caused by lack of maintenance, and wear caused by grinding on rough surfaces.

Wheels
Chipping, where pieces of the polyurethane break off the wheel, caused by landing sideways or riding on rough surfaces. Flat spots caused by excessive braking and skidding of the rear wheel. Wearing wheel bearings, unless they are defective at the time of purchase.

Brakes
Wear due to excessive use. Hardware damaged by improper installation, including cross-threaded screws.
